Half-timbered Wall Houses
Many people, who were interested in building of wooden house, heard of half-timbered houses. This technology started to develop in the 15th century in Germany and is very popular now in many countries. If we talk about the benefits, there are no load-bearing walls, only structure that is made of the horizontal and vertical elements produced of beams. The space between the beams is filled with adobe bricks, stones, regular bricks, wood or other materials. The walls do not bear the load, so they can be put away and organize the interior of the house in a different way. Half-timbered houses are very strong and their durable service life is more than 500 years.
The combination of the old traditions of house building and modern technologies we use in the building of the half-timbered houses, allows building perfectly durable house, where the walls are filled with modern heat insulation materials and finishing materials. For the construction of the supporting structures the wooden laminated log is used, which due to the special impregnation is practically fireproof, and the use of well drained, glued lamellas of wood provides longevity and durability. The half-timbered structure is usually in contrasting colours with a façade that gives a special character and style of the whole building. The half-timbered house is light, minimum load on the ground, respectively, does not require reinforced foundation. „Turn-key” building lasts no more than six month; you can move in immediately, because it provides no shrinkage. Be happy in your new house!
